Alice inspiration

In 2000 a PC game was released called Alice. This was a take on Lewis Caroll's Alice in Wonderland but in this game, Alice is a bit older, and after her parents die in a fire, she is admitted to Rutledge insane asylum. There she retreats into her mind, and revisits wonderland - except this time it is dark, twisted and frightening. I played this game when I was younger and it really scared me, penetrated my mind and provoked imagination and thoughts. 11 years on, and another game where Alice is in her 20's is to be released, and this has bought up a whole new train of inspiration and thought for me. It is similar to my idea of dreams and surrealism, and so it links in quite nicely.
